My favorite thing about Farmgirlfit is the “vibe” – it just feels really good here! The energy is fun, supportive, accepting, and inspiring. An additional bonus…is seeing my daughter, and lil Ruby (a 3rd generation farmgirl).

I’ve loved to run since I was 11! Competitively, until my college coach turned something so sacred into a miserable job. As I’ve become older, having run so many miles, my body screamed at me to mix it up. There was a flyer on our bulletin board at South Perry Pizza. My daughter got hooked first, and I soon after. “Mixing it up” has proved itself to be one of the best things ever.
I am most proud of coming in (dead) last for the swim portion of a mini triathlon, then clawing my way back to win my age group. It took WAY more courage to complete the swim than any other part of that race.
My aching back!
I am currently learning to skate ski, and finding it quite challenging. Very steep learning curve for someone who has struggled “coordinationally” her whole life. But, I am having fun with it, I love being outside and my husband is very patient.
I love rowing.
Burpees…does anyone like them???
This is what I came here for!!!
Sliced apples with peanut butter.

Since mixing up the fitness portion of things, I find myself having better posture, stretching at home, and making better nutritional choices. My husband has always been an amazing athlete, and he too has incorporated these same actions. I’d like to think he too is inspired by FGF.
Well….I’m a new grandma, and love it so much. An additional bonus of coming to FGF is seeing my daughter, and lil Ruby (a 3rd generation farmgirl!). I tried retiring after we sold our pizza shop, but recently started working as an RN at an eye surgery center. Structure is good for me. Also, I love animals! My sweet old dog, handsome cat and 6 ladybirds bring me so much joy. Being active is huge for me; I don’t meet friends for lunch, instead we meet up to hike, run, bike, ski etc.
The Rosa pizza at South Perry Pizza. Used to be a little dangerous when we owned the place!
Of my two amazing daughters. They are both the FINEST of human beings.
Go Eags! We moved to Cheney a couple years ago and love supporting this community.
Only after a couple drinks…stir the pot.
Breakfast sandwiches with eggs from my hens, topped with avocados. We’ve also been enjoying the heck out of “bowls” lately. The possibilities are endless.
Come, take it in, and do your best. On days I feel overwhelmed and want to skip out…I just take it in 2-3 minute chunks. I’ve never ever EVER wished I hadn’t attended The Grind.
